Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Shou Character by Zhang Tingji was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,415.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Tingji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Standard Script in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 76,334.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shou Character von Zhang Tingji wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.415,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Tingji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Standard Script im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 76.334,97).
