In October 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction An Exquisite Collection of Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Flowers And Birds by Zhang Kunyi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 460,000.00 (€ 43,651.61), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhang Kunyi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mice And Turnip sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,667.50).

Im Oktober 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion An Exquisite Collection of Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers And Birds von Zhang Kunyi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 460.000,00 (€ 43.651,61) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhang Kunyi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mice And Turnip im Oktober 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.667,50).
