Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Zhang Hongtu was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,875.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Hongtu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,440,000.00 (€ 137,117.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhang Hongtu wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.875,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Hongtu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.440.000,00 (€ 137.117,37).
