Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bikers No. 1; & No. 2 by Zhang Hongtu was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,295.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Hongtu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,440,000.00 (€ 137,117.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bikers No. 1; & No. 2 von Zhang Hongtu wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.295,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Hongtu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.440.000,00 (€ 137.117,37).
