Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dong Qichang - Cezanne #3 by Zhang Hongtu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 33,183.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Hongtu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,440,000.00 (€ 137,117.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dong Qichang - Cezanne #3 von Zhang Hongtu kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 33.183,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Hongtu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.440.000,00 (€ 137.117,37).
