Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Long Live Chairman Mao Series #29 by Zhang Hongtu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2009. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,371.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Hongtu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,440,000.00 (€ 137,117.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Long Live Chairman Mao Series #29 von Zhang Hongtu kam im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.371,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Hongtu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shen Zhou - Van Gogh #2 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.440.000,00 (€ 137.117,37).
