Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Paper Bride-Dream by Zeng Chuanxing was sold in the NOW: Art of the 21st Century auction at Phillips in London in September 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Chuanxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paper Bride - Prayer in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 5,024,000.00 (€ 478,387.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Paper Bride-Dream von Zeng Chuanxing wurde im September 2009 in der Auktion NOW: Art of the 21st Century bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.311,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Chuanxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paper Bride - Prayer im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.024.000,00 (€ 478.387,27).
