Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning Mist by Zeng Chuanxing was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. It changed hands for a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 11,829.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Chuanxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paper Bride - Prayer in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 5,024,000.00 (€ 478,387.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Morning Mist von Zeng Chuanxing wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 11.829,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 140.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Chuanxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paper Bride - Prayer im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.024.000,00 (€ 478.387,27).
