It achieved a price of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 35,374.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Chuanxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paper Bride - Prayer in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 5,024,000.00 (€ 478,387.27).

Die Arbeit Paper Bride-Sunset (Painted In 2004) von Zeng Chuanxing kam im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 35.374,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Chuanxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paper Bride - Prayer im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.024.000,00 (€ 478.387,27).
