Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Red Ayan by Yusuf Grillo was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 203,600.00 (€ 233,789.36). Other works by Yusuf Grillo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 403,500.00 (€ 459,059.19) in March this year for the work The Seventh Knot, 1969 (Framed).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red Ayan von Yusuf Grillo wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 203.600,00 (€ 233.789,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Yusuf Grillo haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 403.500,00 (€ 459.059,19) im März diesen Jahres für die Arbeit The Seventh Knot, 1969 (Framed) beobachtet.
