The work Afternoon In A Small Town(Painted In 1926) by Yun Gee was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 1,298,000.00 (€ 147,279.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Gee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Broadway in Winter in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 58,600,000.00 (€ 6,402,313.62).

Die Arbeit Afternoon In A Small Town(Painted In 1926) von Yun Gee wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.298.000,00 (€ 147.279,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Gee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Broadway in Winter im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.600.000,00 (€ 6.402.313,62).
