Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nude with Cigarette by Yun Gee was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 900,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 945,000.00 (€ 113,268.73). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Gee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Broadway in Winter in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 58,600,000.00 (€ 6,402,313.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nude with Cigarette von Yun Gee kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 900.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 945.000,00 (€ 113.268,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Gee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Broadway in Winter im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.600.000,00 (€ 6.402.313,62).
