Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yun Gee could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art auction, the work Man Holding Baby changed hands for HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 271,458.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 2,400,000.00 – 4,800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Gee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Broadway in Winter in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 58,600,000.00 (€ 6,402,313.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yun Gee konnte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Man Holding Baby für HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 271.458,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 2.400.000,00 – 4.800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Gee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Broadway in Winter im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.600.000,00 (€ 6.402.313,62).
