The work Spring in Brooklyn Botanic Garden by Yun Gee was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 3,125,000.00 (€ 342,385.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 74%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Gee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Broadway in Winter in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 58,600,000.00 (€ 6,402,313.62).

Die Arbeit Spring in Brooklyn Botanic Garden von Yun Gee wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.125.000,00 (€ 342.385,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 74%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Gee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Broadway in Winter im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.600.000,00 (€ 6.402.313,62).
