Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Day Auction, which included the work Female Nude Carrying Ball by Yun Gee. The price achieved of HKD 882,000.00 (€ 106,640.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Gee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Broadway in Winter in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 58,600,000.00 (€ 6,402,313.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Female Nude Carrying Ball von Yun Gee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 882.000,00 (€ 106.640,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Gee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Broadway in Winter im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.600.000,00 (€ 6.402.313,62).
