Auction result well in line with expectations
The work André Salmon(Painted in 1939) by Yun Gee was auctioned at China Guardian in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 3,600,000.00 (€ 461,324.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Gee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Broadway in Winter in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 58,600,000.00 (€ 6,402,313.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit André Salmon(Painted in 1939) von Yun Gee kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600.000,00 (€ 461.324,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Gee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Broadway in Winter im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.600.000,00 (€ 6.402.313,62).
