Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work The Mirror by Yun Gee for HKD 529,200.00 (€ 62,099.01). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 700,000.00 – 1,400,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Gee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Broadway in Winter in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 58,600,000.00 (€ 6,402,313.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Mirror von Yun Gee für HKD 529.200,00 (€ 62.099,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 700.000,00 – 1.400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Gee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Broadway in Winter im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.600.000,00 (€ 6.402.313,62).
