Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples Day Sale, which included the work The Three Gorges Dam Migration by Ji Yun-Fei. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,231.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ji Yun-Fei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Three Gorges Dam Migration in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 11,243.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Prints & Multiples Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Three Gorges Dam Migration von Ji Yun-Fei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.231,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ji Yun-Fei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Three Gorges Dam Migration im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 11.243,14).
