Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yukimasa Ida achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Owen Sindorf sold for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 47,934.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yukimasa Ida have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work King of Rock in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 301,111.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yukimasa Ida erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Owen Sindorf für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 47.934,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yukimasa Ida auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit King of Rock im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 301.111,07).
