Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The End Of Today by Yukimasa Ida was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 201,600.00 (€ 25,155.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yukimasa Ida achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work King of Rock in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 301,111.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The End Of Today von Yukimasa Ida kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 201.600,00 (€ 25.155,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yukimasa Ida erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit King of Rock im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 301.111,07).
