The work Woman by Yukimasa Ida was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yukimasa Ida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work King of Rock, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 301,111.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Woman von Yukimasa Ida kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yukimasa Ida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit King of Rock beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 301.111,07) versteigert wurde.
