A top price for Yousuf Karsh - as previously expected
The work Fifteen Portraits by Yousuf Karsh was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2013. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,970.84) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fifteen Portraits is the most expensive artwork by Yousuf Karsh that we have observed at auctions so far.
