Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Uprooted 18, 2007 by Yang Yi. The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,092.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Other works by Yang Yi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Uprooted #14, South River was auctioned for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,904.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uprooted 18, 2007 von Yang Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.092,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Yang Yi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2010 die Arbeit Uprooted #14, South River für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.904,83) versteigert.
