A top price for Yang Yi
In April 2010 Phillips in London held the auction BRIC Theme Sale, which included the work Uprooted #14, South River by Yang Yi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,904.83), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, Uprooted #14, South River is even the most expensive work of art by Yang Yi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Yang Yi
Im April 2010 führte Phillips in London die Auktion BRIC Theme Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uprooted #14, South River von Yang Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.904,83) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Uprooted #14, South River sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yang Yi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
