Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Phillips in London held the auction BRIC, which included the work Uprooted #1, Sleeping Buddha Road, Fruit Company’s Dormitory by Yang Yi. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,630.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Yang Yi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Uprooted #14, South River was auctioned for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,904.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion BRIC durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uprooted #1, Sleeping Buddha Road, Fruit Company’s Dormitory von Yang Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.630,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Yang Yi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2010 die Arbeit Uprooted #14, South River für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.904,83) versteigert.
