Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Postcard Tree by Xie Nanxing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 113,829.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xie Nanxing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Postcard Tree von Xie Nanxing kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 113.829,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xie Nanxing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
