A top price for Xie Nanxing - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) by Xie Nanxing was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) is the most expensive artwork by Xie Nanxing that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) von Xie Nanxing kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xie Nanxing, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
