Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Old Aged Generation No. 2 by Xie Nanxing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 59,835.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Nanxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Old Aged Generation No. 2 von Xie Nanxing kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 59.835,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Nanxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
