Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work We No. 3 by Xie Nanxing. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 882,000.00 (€ 104,712.33). Admittedly, works by Xie Nanxing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit We No. 3 von Xie Nanxing zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 882.000,00 (€ 104.712,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xie Nanxing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
