Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Solitary Heights No. 2 / Pencil Sketch of Solitary Heights No. 2 by Wucius Wong. The price achieved of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 60,397.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Wucius Wong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) was auctioned for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Solitary Heights No. 2 / Pencil Sketch of Solitary Heights No. 2 von Wucius Wong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 60.397,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wucius Wong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85) versteigert.
