Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Christies in Cologne held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Harbour Rhythm by Wucius Wong. The price achieved of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 60,409.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. Other works by Wucius Wong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) was auctioned for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Köln die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Harbour Rhythm von Wucius Wong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 60.409,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 650.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wucius Wong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85) versteigert.
