Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wucius Wong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2021. In the Contemporary Art Asia auction, the work Streaming Thoughts #3 sold for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,451.25) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wucius Wong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wucius Wong erzielte im März 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia wurde die Arbeit Streaming Thoughts #3 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.451,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wucius Wong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85).
