Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wucius Wong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,550.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 24,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wucius Wong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wucius Wong kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.550,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 24.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wucius Wong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85).
