Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Koh Sang Woo could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Natasha, 1990s changed hands for USD 597.50 (€ 496.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koh Sang Woo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pierrot Lion in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,431.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Koh Sang Woo konnte im Juli 2004 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Natasha, 1990s für USD 597,50 (€ 496,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koh Sang Woo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pierrot Lion im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.431,58).
