Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Conversation; & What Light Dreams When the Sun is in Love by Koh Sang Woo was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,791.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Koh Sang Woo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pierrot Lion, which sold at auction in September 2020 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,431.58).
