Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Winslow Homer could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work The Siesta changed hands for USD 189,000.00 (€ 154,994.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Winslow Homer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Where are the Boats? in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,572,500.00 (€ 3,918,166.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Winslow Homer konnte im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
