Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chow Yun Fat'S Fitting Room by Wilson Shieh was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,254.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilson Shieh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chow Yun Fat'S Fitting Room von Wilson Shieh wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.254,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04) versteigert wurde.
