Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Equestrian Statue by William Walcot was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,669.53). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Walcot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Etruscan Temple Of Jupiter Capitolinus in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 26,900.00 (€ 33,793.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Equestrian Statue von William Walcot kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.669,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Walcot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Etruscan Temple Of Jupiter Capitolinus im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.900,00 (€ 33.793,07).
