Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nahant Rocks by William Stanley Haseltine was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 300,000.00 (€ 264,947.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by William Stanley Haseltine have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Rocks at Narragansett was auctioned for USD 600,000.00 (€ 445,997.18).
