Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Robinson could be acquired at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Australian Art auction, the work Australian William With Josephine changed hands for AUD 168,000.00 (€ 86,633.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 170,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Robinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Landscape With Sunset And Self Portrait in May 2007 with an auction result of AUD 696,000.00 (€ 427,957.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von William Robinson konnte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Melbourne für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
