Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Sothebys in Sydney held the auction Important Paintings, which included the work Australian Storm Landscape With Antarctic Beech by William Robinson. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 380,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 408,000.00 (€ 246,849.43). Other works by William Robinson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 696,000.00 (€ 427,957.48) in May 2007 for the work Australian Landscape With Sunset And Self Portrait.

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Sydney die Auktion Important Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian Storm Landscape With Antarctic Beech von William Robinson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 380.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 408.000,00 (€ 246.849,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von William Robinson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 696.000,00 (€ 427.957,48) im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Australian Landscape With Sunset And Self Portrait beobachtet.
