Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work A Game Of Pelota by Sir William Nicholson. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,703.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sir William Nicholson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunflowers in March this year with an auction result of GBP 756,000.00 (€ 860,096.03).
