Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Mason Brown could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Still Life With Fruit changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,159.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Mason Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with Melon, Grapes, Peaches, Pears and Black Raspberries in March 2003 with an auction result of USD 83,650.00 (€ 76,743.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von William Mason Brown konnte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
