Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vase by William Marshall was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 868.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Marshall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tall Vase With Brushed Motif, which sold at auction in March 2016 for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,683.02).
