Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Mt. Lafayette, Franconia New Hampshire by William Hart. The »bidding war« ended at USD 46,000.00 (€ 31,794.30), 15% above the upper estimate. Other works by William Hart have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 44,100.00 (€ 40,615.21) in January this year for the work A Spring Day on the Hudson.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mt. Lafayette, Franconia New Hampshire von William Hart zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 46.000,00 (€ 31.794,30) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von William Hart haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 40.615,21) im Januar diesen Jahres für die Arbeit A Spring Day on the Hudson beobachtet.
