Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fields In Summer by William Hart was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2013. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,867.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Hart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Spring Day on the Hudson in January this year with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 40,615.21).

Die Arbeit Fields In Summer von William Hart kam im Februar 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.867,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Hart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Spring Day on the Hudson im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 40.615,21).
