Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boxers by Wilhelm Hunt Diederich was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,374.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Hunt Diederich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana and Hound in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 391,500.00 (€ 348,433.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boxers von Wilhelm Hunt Diederich kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.187,50 (€ 1.374,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Hunt Diederich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana and Hound im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 391.500,00 (€ 348.433,61).
