Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 175,000.00 (€ 158,816.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm Hunt Diederich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana and Hound, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 391,500.00 (€ 348,433.61).
