Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Horse and Snake by Wilhelm Hunt Diederich was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 25,500.00 (€ 25,335.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Hunt Diederich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana and Hound in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 391,500.00 (€ 348,433.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Horse and Snake von Wilhelm Hunt Diederich kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 25.500,00 (€ 25.335,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Hunt Diederich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana and Hound im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 391.500,00 (€ 348.433,61).
