The work A Young Lady, Wearing A Lace-Trimmed Blue Dress, Ermine Mantle, Pearl Jewellery And Portrait Miniature Depicting A Man In A Red Coat Suspended From Her Breast, With Upswept Hair Adorned With Strands Of Pearls And A Yellow And White Bandeau And Feathers; A by William Grimaldi was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,353.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by William Grimaldi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Arthur Wellesley, 1St Duke Of Wellington (1769-1852) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,746.44).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.353,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00.
